Service Description
An Outstanding (2016 CQC rating) and national award winning GP surgery providing primary health care services solely for those adults experiencing homelessness within Oxford city.
Based in the city centre on Cromwell Street and next door to O'Hanlon House hostel, we offer a morning drop-in access service to GPs, nurses and allied health professionals including mental health and social practitioners, substance misuse practitioners (via Turning Point), dentistry (Tuesdays only), podiatry (foot care, fourth Thursday of the month) and acupuncture (every Thursday afternoon).
Afternoons for booked appointments only.
Key functions & activities offered
- Opening times - 9am - 12.30pm and 2pm - 5pm Monday to Friday
- Closed Thursday afternoons 2pm - 5pm (except for acupuncture appointments).
- New registrations 9am - 10.30am daily
- Daily schedule:
- 8am - 9am - booked appointments with GPs
- 9am - 12.30pm - drop-in or book-on-the-day appointments with GPs, nurses and the social practitioner
- 12.30pm - 2pm - closed
